To obtain Spanish citizenship, you must pass two official exams: the CCSE (Conocimientos Constitucionales y Socioculturales de España) and, in most cases for non-native speakers, the DELE A2 Spanish language test. The CCSE exam consists of 25 questions about the Spanish constitution, culture, history and government, and you need at least 15 correct answers to pass. The DELE A2 certification proves that you have a basic level of Spanish.

How many weeks I need to complete the A2 level with online Spanish classes if my current level is zero?

The number of weeks per level depends on many factors such as the overall quality of the group and how quickly each member can advance, but in general but in general, students complete level A1 in 12 weeks of Intensive classes, A2: 12 weeks, B1: 15 weeks, B2: 18 weeks, C1: 18 weeks or more.

12 weeks are necessary to complete level A1
+ other 12 weeks to complete level A2
+ other 15 weeks to complete level B1
+ other 18 weeks to complete level B2
+ other 18 weeks or more to complete level C1

You will need 24 weeks to complete the A2 level. Obviously, if you already have some basic knowledge and can start at the beginning of level A2, the total duration will be shorter.

You can also get the same speed progress if you take 5 private online lessons per week.

OPTION 1: Live classes in groups

Group Zoom lessons, 2 days per week (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday – depending level, from 17:00 to 18:40 Spanish time). Continuous course. Minimum duration required 4 weeks, which can be extended as much as you wish. Course which simulates in-site classes. Possible to join on any Monday (Tuesday).

Once you are registered, we will call you to check your oral Spanish to assure us you are entering the correct group.

Prices 240€ per 4 weeks, 450€ if you book 8 weeks in advance, and only 540€ if you book 12 weeks (180€ per 4 extra weeks)

OPTION 2: Live Private Classes

Online private classes (by zoom, Teams) – are scheduled from Monday to Friday between 12:45 and 18:00h Madrid, Spain time. You give us your time preferences. We program the lessons weekly (every Monday we send schedule for the week after, to confirm – you have until Wednesday to confirm it). There are 4 packages to choose from: Basic 1 lesson / week for 38€/week, Advanced 2 lessons/week for 75€/week, Intensive 5 lessons/week for 175€/week, Super Intensive 10 lessons/week for 300€/week. 1 lesson: 50 min

The lessons start 1-2 weeks after the booking is done.

Once we have completed the level, A2 in this case, we have to take into account that we must do 2 more weeks of the specific DELE exam preparation course.

Live Private Classes

And finally, it is important to know that the courses do not include the DELE exam, so we have to book the exam in advance using this link https://examenes.cervantes.es or plan the dates of the courses correctly. That is, if, for example, we need 24 weeks to achieve level A2 plus two weeks of DELE A2 preparation courses, then we have to set the exam date in relation to those times.
