Accommodation in Alicante

After over 40 years of experience, we know how important it is to you to have comfortable accommodation where you have all the necessary amenities at your disposal such as WIFI for your laptop or Smartphone, and be situated near the school and close to the center of Alicante. This is why each day we put in an extra effort to ensure that all our accommodation is perfectly equipped and satisfy all the requirements of comfort that you deserve so that your stay in Alicante is perfect.

Students travelling together or friends joining the same course can request to be accommodated in the same shared apartment or Spanish host family. They may also request a double room (to share) or two single rooms within the same accommodation, whenever possible.

This preference should be clearly indicated in the comments section of the booking form, and we will do our best to take it into account when assigning accommodation.

Accommodation conditions
  • Arrival / departure: Sunday → Saturday (departure by noon).
  • Private bathrooms: not standard. Host families normally have shared bathrooms. Private bathroom on request, with supplement and subject to availability.
  • Special diets: available on request (homestay).
  • Double rooms: only for students booking and travelling together.
  • Air-conditioning: available in shared apartments (not guaranteed unless requested).
  • Security deposit: required in shared apartments (Visa/Mastercard, refundable).
  • Additional nights: only 1 extra night possible (Saturday → Sunday).
  • Age requirements: Students 14 years old and over are allowed to stay in a student residence, provided that parental consent is submitted. Student residences do not offer special supervision for minors.
Accommodation in Alicante

Shared Apartment / Student Flat

Shared students apartments are the ideal choice if you prefer complete independence, cooking your own food and wish to enjoy the experience of sharing an apartment with other students of all ages and backgrounds.

In a student apartment you will be living with four or five other students from the Spanish school (it´s not possible to share with local Spaniards). With this choice you´ll able to meet and interact with other students of all ages and have the independence to prepare your own meals. We do recommend you make an agreement with others in the apartment regarding speaking Spanish to avoid other shared languages taking away from Spanish practice.

About the Student Shared Apartments:

  • While not very luxurious, they include all the basic facilities: bed, table/desk, chair and a closet wardrobe
  • Each apartment has a living room with TV, a fully equipped functioning kitchen, a washing machine and iron.
  • Telephones are not available in student flats; you will need to use public telephones or a local calling center.
  • The kitchen and bathroom are shared common areas and together you keep the house clean.

Shared apartments are not located on campus, however we do everything possible to offer you the closest available accommodation to the school. Booking early will facilitate this. We do guarantee that your accommodation will never be more than a 30 minute commute on public transport or a 30 minute walk.

  • School distance: 5-15 minutes on foot
  • Includes: Wi-Fi, bed linens, access to a fully equipped kitchen, and welcome amenities. Not included: towels and meals.

Private Apartment

If you value your independence and a higher level of comfort during your stay, this option may be ideal for you. Choosing private accommodation allows you to enjoy Alicante at your own pace while studying Spanish and experiencing the city’s unique lifestyle.

We do not arrange accommodation directly, but we can recommend trusted options in neighborhoods close to the school, so you can choose and book the accommodation that best suits your preferences.



Host Family / Home Stay

Host family accommodation allows you to get the maximum benefit from your language courses combining Spanish language practice along with cultural immersion. While living in the home of a local Spanish speaking family you´ll speak Spanish all day long both for fun and out of necessity. Home stays offer the unique opportunity of experiencing Spanish life and customs giving you a privileged view of daily life in another culture.

About home stay:

  • Your host family may be a family with parents and children or a single parent who enjoys the company when taking in students. Many end up going out on the town together or staying in contact after they return home.
  • Options include a room with breakfast, half-board (breakfast and either a cooked meal in the afternoon around 2 o'clock or a light dinner at 10pm), or full-board (breakfast and two meals).
  • You will have meals at Spanish times (this will likely be later than what you may be accustomed to) and you´ll enjoy local foods (although your host family will take into account your preferences if possible).
  • You will have your own house keys so you will have the freedom to come and go as you please. You will be able to receive phone calls at the family home.
Practical Information
  • School distance: 30 minutes maximum travelling time on foot or with public transport to or from the school.
  • Includes: bed linens, blankets, towels, Wi-Fi, and weekly laundry service. Meals: some host families may provide a packed lunch instead of a sit-down meal at home.
